Footy Pick’em is operated by Karan Khiani in British Columbia, Canada. We collect the information you submit when creating an account, including your email address, display name, country, city, picks and consent preferences. We use it to operate your account, score the game, contact winners, prevent abuse and understand participation.
Sponsor reporting
Partners receive aggregated reporting such as completed cards, return rate and geographic distribution. Player contact information is not sold or provided to sponsors. A partner offer requiring contact information will use a separate, explicit opt-in.
Service messages
Account codes, entry confirmations and winner notices are part of operating the game. Matchweek reminders and product updates are sent only where you have chosen to receive them.
Analytics
On the production website, Google Analytics measures visits, sessions, page use, approximate location, and browser and device information. Google Analytics uses first-party cookies to distinguish users and sessions. Footy Pick’em does not configure email addresses, leaderboard names or picks as Analytics user properties or events.
We also record first-party game events, including card starts, completed selections, sign-in steps, submission failures and saved cards, to understand where the game needs improvement. A random identifier in your existing session connects these events with campaign labels in the link you followed. These records are linked to your player account when signed in. Optional feedback includes your selected answer and the text you submit. We do not send this feedback or account information to Google Analytics or sponsors. Draft picks are stored in your browser tab so they survive a refresh during sign-in.
Access and deletion
You may request access, correction or deletion by emailing hello@footypickem.com. Some contest records may be retained where required for fraud prevention, prize administration or legal compliance.
Technology
The site uses a first-party session cookie for sign-in and security. IP addresses are stored only as keyed hashes for basic abuse review.
